Anglican — Our Vision
We envision St. Luke’s Church as a church that:
• Emphasizes God’s grace, God’s love for us that we do not deserve
because of our sin. St. Luke’s will welcome all people just as they
are. We will work through Word and Sacrament, prayer, instruction,
service and fellowship to guide people to know Christ as Lord and
Savior and become His fully devoted disciples.
• Celebrates the breadth and depth of 2000 years of Christian history.
St. Luke’s will have the vitality of the New Testament church, the
devoutness of the ancient catholic church, the convictions of the
Reformation and the enthusiasm of today’s evangelical and charismatic
movements.
• Stresses the ministry of the Holy Spirit. St. Luke’s will be
open to all His power, signs, and gifts. We will stress the church’s
ministry of healing.
• Proclaims the Good News about Jesus Christ by word and deed to
Cody, the Big Horn Basin, Wyoming and the entire world. We look forward
to helping establish other Anglican churches in the region.
